I've been waiting so darn long to finally share these invitations!
I'm so in love.
We had a local artist, Chris Broussard, do a pen and watercolor painting for us to use as the invitation.
She gave us the original copy to keep and frame, and then at a local printing press, Webster Printing, we shrunk it down and added some text.
It doesn't get more personal and homemade than that.

Then we added the text and also included a map:
My mom worked hard to choose a font and a layout that allowed us to print each invitation ourselves.Personally, I'm thrilled to be able to keep the original artwork and frame it for our new home!
Even though it may not be as formal as most wedding invitations, I'm a-ok with that, Josh and I are most definitely not formal people.
It completely sets the tone for our laid back, fun wedding
(that is happening in 5 weeks! yikes!)

Oh my goodness I absolutely love these! Water color is so beautiful and I love that you can keep and frame the original! So unique and something you wouldn't normally do with a typical wedding invite.
