During my few months of being an unemployed housewife, I had plenty of time to devote towards fixing up our new home.
We had tons of leftover wedding decorations, but we were just kinda lacking in the whole "space to put things" department.
Once I finally got everything arranged neatly, I snapped a few photos
. . . and because I knew it would probably never look this clean and organized again.
Much to my disappointment, the only missing piece to our fully furnished apartment is a rug.
I'm still patiently hunting for the perfect one.
One of my favorite wedding gifts from my cousin Cara:
Charles, king of the couch
We've developed a bad habit of collecting music festival posters over the years . . .
Our bedroom:
We used the reserved seat markers that I made for the wedding using frames, moss, and lace as pictures frames to hang above our bed.
Couch: Crate & Barrel
Pub table/chairs, barstools, side table, 3-shelf console, green burlap pillows, and set of 3 key picture frames: World Market
Bookcase, TV unit, chest of drawers, map pillow, bed frame, and tabletop mirror: Ikea

SO cute! I actually love the music festival posters. I don't think it's a bad habit at all!!!
I am such a sucker for blogger home tours -- and yours looks awesome! I love the kitchen / entry nook. It was great that you were able to incorporate so much "leftover" wedding stuff, without it LOOKING like leftover wedding stuff. ...have you tried checking Joss and Main for rugs?? They feature different shops everyday and I have seen a zillion awesome rugs at a good discount.
looks fantastic!
