Newsies is coming to Broadway!!!!

Well it's official.

My favorite musical of all time is coming to Broadway!

This past fall an adaptation of the musical was performed at the Paper Mill Playhouse, and it was such a huge hit they decided to bring it to Broadway next spring!

(March 15-June 10)

One of the producers said, "After 20 years, it is the single most requested stage adaptation of all of Disney musical films"

. . . and Harvey Fierstein is helping!

(We got to see him perform in Hairspray on Broadway in high school, and he won a Tony Award that year for Best Lead Actor in a Musical, SO talented.)

Seriously, all my childhood dreams have come true.
(Except for that one dream about marrying Zac Hanson . . . )

I have been hoping for this to happen for years and years and years.

Even though the movie is mostly famous for doing so terribly at the box office, I still loved it.
The music was truly the best part.

It's embarrassingly addicting.

. . . and what's hotter than a 17 year old singin' and dancing' Christian Bale?

I'm thinking this is the greatest reason I've ever had to head back to NYC during our break from school this spring . . .
