Weekend play-by-play

Mar 12, 2012

I'm devastated the weekend is over.

Here's a little recap:

Friday night: Date time @ Fireside Pies
We suck at "changing it up"

Saturday: Houston
Pre concert Dr. Dog free performance at Cactus Music

mmmmmm St. Arnolds

. . . and then came the real show.
At Fitzgeralds.

. . . who has great entrance stamps by the way.
(Side note: Josh's hand!)

GIVERS!!

Soundboard.

Dr. Dog!

I was mostly excited about this trip to Houston because I got to meet up with my longggg lost friend Ali!
We met about 10 years ago at Pine Cove, where we were randomly paired to be cabinmates two different summers!
(Go here to see more about Pine Cove)
I was so excited to catch up with her, meet her boyfriend, and introduce them to Josh!

Sunday:
The sun finally made its appearance and we enjoyed some Sufjan records, bike adventures, and a Whole Foods date.

This post is completely lacking words and feelings.
My bad.
I am lacking time.
Darn daylight savings hour!
Mondays are oh so dreary.

Coming soon:
Weekend recap regarding the one and only Charlie.

What a fab weekend. We played "Catch Phrase" for 3 hours with 2 other couples and laughed until we were crazy. If you have never played, you and your friends would love it. Thanks for following. I followed back on blog lovin.

love that y'all eat at fireside pies all the time because i used to live across the street from a fireside pies in dallas!! it was so great to see you guys after all these years! i feel like we would go out on a lot of double dates if we lived in the same city...hopefully we will reunite again soon!

Camping is all about embracing the beauty of nature, but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice comfort. A camping mattress is a small addition to your gear that makes a big difference.
